Valentines Day Poem

Love in the air,

Moon glows bright,

Lust turns to flare,

This winter’s night,

Eternal bonds we celebrate,

To ward off rough edges of inner hate,

A yearly reminder of our ties,

Though sometimes, they’re full of lies,

What’s more important, this Valentines Day?

Is it being with your lover, forming life from clay?

Or is it giving what you can, in every way?

For some don’t have a Valentine,

And some are waiting for a sign,

Some don’t care, why they’re just fine,

Just where are you, on this line?
