Writing Wednesday again, so here’s your free writing prompt!

Right foot, left foot, right foot, left foot; he walked through the dark, hands out, trying to feel around for danger. Eluding him, was memory. Memory should tell him where he was; when the darkness first fell, but memory was not his friend. It was a squiggly line in the corner of his eye, constantly fleeting his vision each time he dare look.
