#TheTriggering : Finding the Truth(Poem + ANNOUNCEMENT!)

#TheTriggering

Today, I’m writing a very special poem, for a very special group of snowflakes known as Social Justice Warriors, who, if you have come across them online (and are of a rational mind), are some of the most bigoted people across social-media.

Let’s Talk About Our Planet, Pt. 5 – The Coffee Crisis

Let’s Talk About Our Planet, Pt. 5 – The Coffee Crisis

First, I want to apologize for the infrequency posts the past few weeks.

There were a few things beyond my control that occurred. Some things that were in my control too, but I lacked the mental capacity to deal with them at the time.  Among a few other things, the most destructive to my mind was losing a good friend to a battle with cancer. I’m not looking for sympathy. I’m simply looking for some understanding as to why I needed to take a break from any serious posts. Frankly, for the past few weeks, I didn’t care – and that’s ok. We all need to be apathetic once in a while; in healthy doses.

Despite that, I did manage to publish a new story that relates directly to the topic at hand. If you like my climate change series, I certainly recommend checking it out. You can find the link on Amazon here, and if you enjoy it, or have any comment, be sure to leave me a review and tell me what you think:

The Force Awakens

WARNING: There will be spoilers in this article. If you have not seen Star Wars : The Force Awakens, and do not want it spoiled, I advise you to save this article in your favorites, and come back after you’ve watched it. If you don’t care about spoilers, then, well, you do you.

I also go on a rant refuting a few of the negative and ridiculous points I’ve seen since the movie came out.  Read on to find out.

Not very long ago, on a planet we’re all familiar with, a torch was passed, and a franchise was saved.

Stop Contributing To Terrorism!

Stop Contributing to Terrorism!

Get your attention?

Good, because I want the message of this blog gets across nice and strong.

Since the Paris attacks, well over 50 Muslims, and countless others across the world, have been wrongfully attacked for simply being a part of the faith, or in some cases, for simply being middle-eastern. I don’t like to use the phrase Islamophobia, as I feel it shuts down any conversation that could lead to a peaceful reformation of Islam. I do think one should be able to criticize the doctrine, along with any laws or motivations that come from it. But when it comes to physically attacking and harassing people, then you have gone well beyond acceptable critique.

Let’s Talk About Our Planet – Pt. 4 : Ocean Acidification

Ocean Acidification:

Ocean acidification is the main cause to most marine issues, and a major factor in the rising sea levels. I discussed a bit of ocean acidification in my last article on Coral Reefs, which you can read here.

Today, I will go into a few more of the details of ocean acidification, in hopes to give you a better understanding of what it is, and what it does.

First, what is ocean acidification?

The Trans-Pacific Partnership : Yes, It’s Bad.

I’m not sure how to open this article, due to its complexity and the public’s lack of understanding on the issue. There are quite a few who have never even heard of the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership). So I suppose the way to open, is with a question.

What do you know about the TPP?

Ask yourself this, and try to answer it as honestly as you can, then ask how much you really know about it.

Let’s Talk About Our Planet, Pt.3 : Coral Reefs – Function and Destruction

Let’s Talk About Our Planet, Pt.3

Coral Reefs : Function and Destruction

In today’s world, headlines of news articles, blogs, and magazines seem to dominate as the main context to inform the general public. This is to say that when people see a headline of something they don’t fully understand, but don’t have the time to, they tend to go directly with the headline, and move on without reading the article.
